Situated just one street off of Estero Blvd. in a quiet residential neighborhood, this home provides a private, tranquil setting just around the corner from the beach.

The main attraction of this home is the backyard. Designed by a landscape architect it features mature, tropical foliage surrounding the property. You’ll spend endless hours here soaking up the sun, swimming in your private in-ground heated pool, relaxing in the overflow hot tub, and listening to your backyard stereo from your own Tiki Bar. No need to go back inside for lunch. There’s a fridge in the Tiki Bar large enough to accommodate your drinks, lunch and snacks. The lush and peaceful setting will make you feel as though you have escaped the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You’ll love the relaxed feeling this property emits.

Located at 5566 Palmetto, this 4 bedroom, three bath home & suite will sleep a maximum of 8 persons. It’s ideal for two families, or those traveling with in-laws or older children. The main home is on the upper level and features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to accommodate a maximum of six people. The private, ground level suite consists of a small kitchen, seating area, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom suitable for 2 guests.

The main home on the upper level features a screened in dining area overlooking the peaceful residential neighborhood. This relaxing, outdoor space is fully open to the living room via sliding patio doors. After dinner, move into the living room to relax on the oversized furnishings, curl up with a good book, watch your favorite TV show, or listen to the home theatre system with surround sound.

The full kitchen has a breakfast bar and everything you’ll need for preparing your meals. The dishwasher makes clean up a breeze. There’s also an unscreened upper front porch directly accessible from the kitchen, where you can sit outside and enjoy the sun while cooking out on the charcoal grill.

The bedrooms are located down the hall from the main living area. Rest peacefully on the queen size bed in the master bedroom. Catch a late night movie on your in-room TV after a relaxing shower in the private ensuite master bathroom.

The second bedroom has a full size bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds. There are also two newly purchased “pack n plays” and a baby monitor for those who might be traveling with little ones. The two guest bedrooms share a full bathroom off the hallway.

On the ground level of the home you’ll find a great studio apartment with sleeping for 4. While the entire home has sleeping for 10, occupancy has been limited to a maximum of 8 persons, including all children. This first floor studio has a queen size bed, living room with sleeper sofa, TV, fridge, oven, microwave, small kitchen, and full bathroom.

For your convenience, this home is outfitted with free, wireless, high-speed internet service and free long distance dialing within North America from the home phone. The washer & dryer are located on the main floor and for those of you with allergies, you can rest assured this home is both pet free and smoke free.

Of course you’ve come to Fort Myers Beach to enjoy the beach, and it’s just a 2 minute walk from the house. Here you’ll find 7 miles of white sugar sand beach to walk out and enjoy.

This vacation property is perfectly located mid-island. The Publix grocery store is less than 1/2 mile away with the new Snook Brite Marina right behind it. Here, or at the Fishtale Marina in the Villa Santini shopping center, you can get fresh fishing bait, rent a boat for the day, or enjoy a delicious meal in their waterfront restaurants. Other wonderful restaurants, shopping, and the beach movie theatre are also just a short walk away as well.

Trolley stops going both North and South bound are just a 1 minute walk from the house on Estero Blvd. Jump on the trolley for 50 cents per person and see the island or head down to Lovers Key State Park for some wildlife viewing and private beaches.

Add 11% FL Sales Tax, and a $500.00 (for main home)/$250 (for studio) refundable security deposit to the above rates. Rates include all utilities and pool heat. All stays over two weeks include a weekly maid service at the end of each week’s stay. Arrival/departure days of the week are flexible to fit your vacation schedule.

*Note: This is a single family home. The studio apartment is only rented with the main home if desired by your party. If the studio is not rented by your party, then it remains empty during your stay.

There are numerous golf courses, mini golf, frisbee golf, libraries, a movie theater, water park, and much, much more. Further out you can enjoy museums, the Shell Factory, the Imaginarium, Calusa Nature Center, Naples Zoo, or an Everglades Airboat or Swamp Buggy adventure.
