A wonderful experience

My husband and I spent a week in Fort Meyers Beach at the Bella Lago 343 last April. We are from Minnesota and were very fortunate to escape a snowstorm in MN to arrive in Fort Meyers to a sunny 80 degrees! We had such a great time. The condo is very convenient to all that you need for your vacation. We had rented a car from the airport and it took around 30 minutes to get to there. We had stopped at the Publix grocery store on the way to pick up some supplies. We did a combination of cooking at the condo and eating out. Everything you need to cook is in the kitchen. There is a GREAT bar and grill (Castaways) less than a 2 block walk that we frequented almost every night. They had live music every night and good food too. We took the trolley for most of our other travel. The trolley stop is right in front of the condo building. The time to wait for the trolley varied. They are supposed to come every 1/2 hour but sometimes it was a longer wait. You can buy a pass very inexpensively either right from the driver or at the Publix grocery store. We actually had a good time meeting people on the trolley! An advantage of the trolley is that you could have a few beers and not worry about driving. And the traffic and parking when you got close to the Times Square was not always fun. The best part of the location of the condo is that it is just a walk across the street to the beach. The sunsets and a glass of wine are wonderful. It is not a crowded area so you don’t have to share the beach with tons of people. There is a pool at the complex but we didn’t actually use it so we can’t comment on that. We felt at home and relaxed all week and cant wait to go back!
