Welcome to your own private vacation paradise, situated off-island in an extremely convenient location in the popular Southwest Florida area. It is the perfect venue for large or extended families as it provides many common facilities, yet privacy when so desired. With two complete kitchens, one in the main house and one in the guest house, as well as one outdoor kitchen, and numerous inside and outside dining areas, those families or groups who enjoy cooking and eating together will find this home absolutely delightful and will provide many memorable moments to last for a lifetime. This is a very unique private residence that sleeps 16, with the main residence consisting of 3 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, and a separate guest residence consisting of 1 bedroom, 2 baths, kitchen, living and dining area, both accommodations brought together with an enormous screen-enclosed area complete with outdoor kitchen, large heated swimming pool, and an abundance of deck areas for sunning, and a covered outdoor living and dining area. This property is located in a private residential neighborhood that is extremely centrally convenient: a 20 minute drive to Times Square at Fort Myers Beach, the Downtown Fort Myers River District, Regional Southwest Airport, and then just 30 minutes to Sanibel Island. There are numerous closeby shops and services, including The Pizza Pub less than a mile away that truly is known to have what many say is the best pizza and other Italian specialties available in the greater Fort Myers area. Sanibel Island is world-famous for its sea shells. Downtown Fort Myers, as noted, has the River District, many diverse restaurants, and the winter homes of Thomas Edison, Hendry Ford, and Harvey Firestone are available for tours.

This home has a two-car enclosed garage, as well as ample driveway parking. Besides the main entrance, there is also another entrance through a gated courtyard area into the outdoor living area and guest residence.

The main entry is through a screened in front porch furnished with two padded patio chairs and cocktail table on an area rug with tile flooring. Then through the front door, entrance is into a furnished foyer with credenza and lamp. There is tile flooring throughout, and decor is tropical Florida/beachy. The floor plan has a unique layout.

To the right of the foyer is a guest bath, dining area, and laundry room. Straight on is the open and airy kitchen, and to the left is a large living room with three bedrooms and two baths off that, and then behind the living area is a game room that spills out onto a screened-in patio. Behind the patio is lush tropical foliage which provides backyard privacy.

From the entry foyer, to the left is the living room which is furnished with two queen-size sleeper-sofas. The sofa on the left has two end tables, as well as a rattan glass-top coffee table. The other sofa also has a rattan glass-top coffee table. Opposite the sitting area is a large wall-mounted flat screen TV with credenza below.

To the right of the living area is the entrance to the master bedroom and en suite bath, which is nicely furnished in a rattan motif, with a king-size bed with head board, night stands and lamps, a desk, a 4-drawer chest, and a triple rattan dresser, above which is a large wall-mounted flat screen TV. On each side of the bed there are windows overlooking the rear of the property. There is cannister lighting, and a ceiling fan for added comfort. Through a pocket sliding door is the en suite bath which has wood tile flooring in a large dressing area. To the right is a quartz-top vanity with dual rectangular lavatories with plenty of storage space beneath and a wall mirror. Opposite the vanity are two large walk-in closets. At the end of the bathroom there is a commode and a very large nicely tiled walk-in shower with glass door, river rock floor, and dual shower heads. LED ceiling lighting highlights the ambiance.

Back out into the living area and going straight across is a hallway leading to two bedrooms and hall bath. Immediately to the right of the hallway is a bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed, night stands and lamps, a corner desk, a triple dresser with wall-mounted flat screen TV, as well as a large walk-in closet. This bedroom has a ceiling fan as well, and the window in here overlooks the front of the residence.

Back into the hallway and to the right is the guest bathroom, again with wood tile flooring, quartz-top vanity with rectangular lavatory, wall mirror, and plenty of storage space beneath. There is a commode, and a nicely tiled combination tub/shower.

Back into the hallway and to the right is the third bedroom in this portion of the home, which is outfitted with a custom-made bunk bed with middle railing on the top portion with access ladders at each end, with two standard mattresses on top, and two standard mattresses on the bottom. There is a double dresser, recessed closet shelving, and a wall-mounted flat screen TV. This bedroom has decorator twin ceiling fans for added comfort.

Back out into the hallway and to the right, through the living room, is the game room. First there is a high-boy table with four high-boy chairs which can be used for games or dining. Also in the game room is an indoor shuffleboard table and a ping-pong table, and as mentioned before through glass French doors is an exterior screened-in sitting area with patio table and four chairs.

From the game room area we go back into the living room, moving towards the entry foyer, and to the left is the entrance to the open and airy kitchen. There are plenty of granite countertops with granite backsplash all around. Cabinet and storage space is plentiful. There is a peninsular bar from the kitchen out into the main dining area with three high-boy bar chairs, and there is also a pass-through into the game room that has three cushioned bar stools. All appliances are stainless steel and include a refrigerator/freezer with double refrigerator doors with freezer drawer beneath with ice-maker, a 5-burner glass-top range with convection and self-cleaning dual ovens, a built-in above-range microwave, dishwasher, and double stainless steel sink with disposal. A Keurig coffee maker will make a cup of coffee in a flash.

Continuing on into the main dining area there is recessed light and a ceiling fan. There is a rectangular table seating six on one side of the room, and on the other side is a surfboard table with three high-boy barstools on each side, basically providing two tables with each seating six.

Off the main dining area is a hallway leading back to the entry foyer, but prior to reaching the foyer there is a half-bath with single-piece vanity and lavatory with storage space beneath, full wall mirror, and commode.

Back towards the main dining area and to the right is a large laundry room with laundry sink and counter area, full-size washer and dryer, and plenty of cupboards and pantry space. The window here overlooks the pool and patio area, and also from the laundry room there is access into the double car garage.

Back through the main dining room area there are glass French doors providing access to the outdoor screened-in entertainment area. This portion is covered and has an outdoor kitchen with large U-shaped bar with eight high-boy cushioned bar chairs. There is a stainless steel sink, a built-in gas grill with two side burners, two under-counter refrigerators, as well as an under-counter refrigerated wine cooler. Between the main house and outdoor kitchen is an area furnished with oblong glass-top patio table seating six, and there is also an L-shaped corner sofa with matching armchair and coffee table on an area rug, and another matching armchair and coffee table. From this seating area and looking toward the kitchen guests will be able to view a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV. There are also ceiling fans, as well as a built-in stereo system. Each side of this area is screened in, with one side looking out towards the rear of the property, and the other side looks out into a courtyard showing the wrought iron front fence and gate accessing the driveway on the front of the property.

Moving on from here is a large rectangular, heated and screen-enclosed swimming pool with numerous lounge chairs, a corner hammock, as well as a round patio table seating four with large umbrella. Pool heating is electric, and there is a convenient outdoor shower just off the outdoor kitchen area.

Next to the pool and beyond the outdoor kitchen is a separate guest house with wood tile flooring throughout. There are three sets of sliding glass doors providing access. Entering through the first set of sliding glass doors provides access into a large bedroom with vaulted ceilings and en suite bath, nicely furnished with bunk bed with standard mattresses above and below. There is a triple dresser, above which is a wall-mounted flat screen TV. Two windows in this bedroom look out towards the rear of the property, and there are also dual decorator ceiling fans for added comfort. Though a pocket sliding door is the en suite bathroom with vanity and lavatory with storage beneath, wall mirror, a large walk-in closet through a sliding pocket door, a nicely tiled corner walk-in shower with glass door and built-in corner seat, commode, and linen closet.

Moving back through the bedroom is a hallway with a guest bathroom on the left through a pocket sliding door. This bathroom has a quartz-top vanity with rectangular lavatory, wall mirror, commode, and a very nicely tiled walk-in shower with glass door. This shower also has a river rock base.

Continuing on we enter the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Immediately to the left is the kitchen with quartz-top counters, and cabinets with plenty of storage space. All appliances are stainless steel and include a 5-burner glass-top range with self-cleaning above, above-range built-in microwave oven, and a refrigerator with side by side doors, pull-out freezer drawer, with ice and water dispenser in the door. There is a rectangular stainless steel sink with disposal. There is also a Keurig coffee maker for your convenience.

Adjacent to the corner kitchen is the dining area, which is furnished with a rectangular wooden table seating six. There is an armoire with shelving and drawers.

The adjacent living room has vaulted ceilings as well, recessed ceiling lighting, and is furnished with a queen-size sleeper sofa with end table and lamp, a corner table, and then matching love seat with end table and lamp, as well as a glass-top coffee table. Opposite the sofa is a corner wall-mounted flat screen TV. Sliding glass doors provide an expansive view out onto the lanai and pool area. The living room also has two ceiling fans for added comfort, and windows overlooking the side and rear of the property.

Again, the central location of this property is premium for Southwest Florida. With its proximity to Times Square on Estero Island, there are also numerous restaurants and night life for your choosing if indeed you are able to tear yourself away from your own private paradise for a gulf-side adventure. On the island water activities abound. There's parasailing, jet ski rentals, fishing charters to name a few.

Fabulous 10 night stay

This property was everything we could ask for plus more for our party of fifteen that was in town for a wedding in Ft. Myers. Our party ranged in ages from 1.5 to 80. The location is convenient as could be to Ft. Myers, the beaches, and RSW with none being greater than a 20 minute drive. The location is even convenient to an executive golf course across the street. Check in was a breeze and the place was immaculately clean.

Communication with Jessica was clear and frequent. She was welcoming and addressed any questions and concerns we had. The communications from the rental company were concise but specific with information and instructions.

With two separate houses, it allowed for one of the families to occupy the pool house and stay away from the hustle and bustle of the main house. The property was well stocked with supplies and even had equipment for the beaches and the pool. There were board games and puzzles which added to the entertainment in the house. The internet signal was strong and without hitch through the entire stay. And the televisions were equipped to stream many apps.

The biggest positive for us was the newly built lanai. There was plenty of couch seating, a bar with two refrigerators, a wine rack, a blue tooth enable speaker system, and a more than adequate grill. We spent the most time out here, having meals even, and whenever it was too warm, we would just take a dip in the pool.
