This canal-front 5 bedroom, 3 bath vacation getaway is like finding a hidden gem in paradise! The upper level can accommodate 4 people with 2 bedrooms and 2 en suite baths, and the lower level 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath, so perfect if there are extended family members or friends. The back yard has large mature shade trees with dock, boat lift, picnic table on the dock (for eating or cleaning the fish you caught that day), and glasstop table seating 6 under the shade of the trees. The canal provides very quick access to the back bay and on around to the Gulf of Mexico. It's also in a prime location for Fort Myers Beach due to its proximity to Estero Boulevard, and one of the most popular restaurants on the beach coined ?The Whale?. This is all in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Times Square, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. We're talking access to miles of white, sugary sand beaches, a pier, too numerous to count clubs, restaurants, and boutiques, all within walking or biking distance. Water activities abound. There's parasailing, jet ski rentals, fishing charters to name a few. Trolleys run up and down the island, plus this location is situated such that it provides quicker ingress and egress to and from the mainland. Sanibel Island, world famous for its sea shells, and Fort Myers with its Downtown River District, historic winter homes of Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone, lie not far to the north, while to the south is Lover's Key State Park, Bonita Springs, and Naples.

Upon arrival there is plenty of open off-street parking. Entry from street-side is into a foyer with art deco glass brick wall where stairs take you up to the entrance of the second level and into the living area. Flooring is carpet and tile.

The living room is nicely furnished in a warm yet beachy motiff with leather sofa and loveseat, end tables and lamps, coffee table, and a credenza with large flat screen TV.

The adjacent dining area has an area rug with table seating six, as well as a china cabinet with glass doors. Both the living and dining areas have windows overlooking the front of the house making the entire area bright and airy.

The bright and spacious updated kitchen is just beyond the dining area and has tile floors. There are granite countertops, as well as a granite topped work area with two stools. There is plenty of cabinet space as well as a pantry. All appliances are stainless steel, including a double door refrigerator with water and ice dispenser in the door, and a bottom freezer drawer, as well as dishwasher, glasstop range with self-cleaning oven, built-in above range microwave, stainless steel kitchen sink, and a countertop wine cooler. There are two windows here, one overlooking the front and one looking out to the side. Everything is provided to prepare full course meals, or simply to make toast and coffee in the mornings.

Back through the dining area and to the right is a large furnished hallway leading to the remainder of the home. To the left is a guest bedroom and bath, nicely furnished with a double 4-poster bed, night stand and lamp, triple dresser, bench, and walk-in closet. The en suite bathroom is upgraded with tiled walk-in shower with seat and glass door, as well as vanity and lavatory. Again there are windows all around, and a door that leads out to the covered upper deck with glass-top cluster table and seats which overlooks the magnificently shaded back yard, glasstop table seating 6, and the dock and boat lift with picnic table on the dock to clean your freshly caught fish.

Returning to the hallway/foyer and to the left is the master bedroom and bath. Furnishings include a king-size bed with night stands and lamps, a walk-in closet, triple dresser, and stand with flat screen TV for your entertainment needs. Windows look to the side and rear of the house into the back yard and canal/dock area. The en suite bath has a combination tiled tub/shower and decorator vanity and lavatory.

Lower Level

The lower level accommodates 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. There is tile flooring throughout. Entry from street level is into the stairway/foyer, and through a door to the right you step down into the living room. There is an area rug here, and furnishings include a sofa with end table and lamp, coffee table, overstuffed chair, and credenza with large flat screen TV. Decor is beachy/tropical.

Behind the living room and to the left is an open, airy, L-shaped kitchen with two side bar eating areas with two barstools each. Appliances are stainless steel, including double door refrigerator/freezer with water and ice dispensers in the door, glasstop self-cleaning range and built-in above range microwave. There is ample counter space, and all necessary items are provided to prepare a full course meal.

Behind the kitchen towards the rear of the house is a bedroom with double bed, night stand, double dresser, 5-drawer chest, and dressing bench with cushion at the end of the bed. There is also a built in desk with flat screen TV and other built in shelving and closet space. Sliding glass doors provide access to the rear of the property beneath the upper deck and out to areas shaded by mature shade trees, the glasstop table seating six, as well as the canal with boat dock, boat lift and picnic table.

Back to the kitchen and to the left, on the left side is a bathroom with nicely tiled walk-in shower and large vanity with lavatory.

Leaving the bathroom and to the left is further storage areas, then left again leads to the laundry area with washer and dryer, as well as another door out to the rear of the property.

Returning through the laundry area and toward the front of the house are two more bedrooms.

The bedroom to the left has a queen-size bed with night stand and lamp, as well as ample closet space. There is a door from here leading to another room which has a door to the front of the house.

Back through these rooms and to the left is a third bedroom along the front of the house, furnished with a doube bed, night stand and lamp, a 5-drawer chest, a dressing table with mirror, and ample closet space.
