Welcome to 223 Pearl Street, a 2 bedroom, one and a half bath lower level unit which is part of a two level duplex located at the north end of the island in a quiet residential neighborhood. There is ample off-street parking, a shared heated pool and shared laundry facilities with 2 washers and 2 dryers located on the lower level. The unit is equipped with a wall unit air conditioner in the kitchen and portable air conditioners in each of the bedrooms.

You will love the location of this home and the convenience of being able to walk to everything during your stay. Seven miles of white sugar sand beach are
waiting for you at the end of Pearl Street right across Estero Blvd. A short 5 minute walk will have your toes running through the warm waters of the Gulf of
Mexico. Up for an adventure? Be close to all the action of Times Square here - fish off the pier, dine at the restaurants and shop at one of the many beach shops.
Don't forget to get an evening treat of ice cream at Royal Scoop, morning breakfast and coffee at Heavenly Biscuit, and lunch at the Tuckaway Cafe. Charter
boats, jet-skis, and parasailing rentals are within walking distance. Take pleasure in a day trip on the Key West Ferry. You can catch up-and-coming local artists at one of the many beach taverns, or actually participate in various karaoke sessions offered locally. Don't want to drive? Hop the Beach Trolley at the stop on the corner of Estero Blvd. and you can explore a wide variety of retail shops, local tourism sites and eateries that Estero Island has to offer. The trolley runs regularly between Fort Myers Beach and Bonita Springs.

This property is reminiscent of old Fort Myers Beach charm, yet is well-maintained and has many recently updated features creating a warm and inviting retreat. Natural light combined with earthy and beachy colors, rich fabrics and textures set the tone. The kitchen has everything necessary to prepare your own meals if you decide not to give in to the temptation to visit as many of the fine nearby restaurants that you can fit in.

The entrance is through a garden setting on approach, with tropical foliage and pavers guiding the way to a covered patio and sitting area just outside the front door. The living area is furnished in a beachy/nautical motif. There is wood laminate flooring throughout. The living room is nicely furnished with a sofa with end table and lamp, as well as an area rug and glass-top coffee table,a matching overstuffed rocker, a bamboo cushioned swivel chair and a side chair. There is a wall-mounted large flat screen TV for your viewing pleasure.

The guest bedroom is nicely furnished with two full size beds with night stand and lamp. It has a triple dresser with wall mirror, as well as wall-mounted flat screen TV.

Across the hall is the guest bathroom with vanity and walk-in shower with glass door. Recessed cannister lighting is a nice feature in here.

The Master bedroom with en suite half bath, is furnished with a queen-size bed, night stands and lamps, a 5-drawer chest of drawers, and a corner wicker chair with wall-mounted flat screen TV. There is ample closet space behind mirrored sliding doors, as well as a half bath.

The eat in kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need for a full course meal, or just to fix toast and coffee in the morning. Counter space and
cabinets are plentiful. All appliances are stainless steel, including refrigerator/freezer with ice-maker, glass-top range with self-cleaning oven, and built-in above range microwave. There is a European style double kitchen sink.

The dining area has a round table with four cushioned chairs, and next to this is a door that provides access to the covered, private, furnished patio next to the pool. This patio has pavered flooring, and is furnished with a round glass-top table seating four, as well as two other cushioned chairs with cocktail table.

The shared pool area is surrounded by a privacy fence and has deck pavers, with a plenty of lounges, chairs, and tables for poolside activities. Adjacent to the pool is the rest of the backyard, with a wooden deck with umbrella table and chairs, as well as gas barbecue grills for the BBQ enthusiast. Just steps from this area on the back of the home is a shared laundry room which is outfitted with two sets of washers and dryers, one set side by side and one set stacked.

Our rental properties are all outfitted with high tech features such as remote entry locks and high speed wireless internet, etc. Both levels of this home can be reserved simultaneously for those with large or extended families. (VRBO 9182157)
