Welcome to 269 Driftwood Lane - Unit #4 nestled within a quiet residential section at the desirable southern end of the island. This is truly classic old Fort Myers Beach in a cozy 4-unit canal-front enclave.

This canal-front property is located at the quiet southern residential end of Estero Island and is just a short distance from a myriad of amenities that include a public marina, golf course, dinner movie theater and restaurants. Just a 2 block walk to the public beach access at Flamingo Street or the beach front tiki bar at the Outrigger Resort. The Outrigger Resort?s tiki bar is the location of a Sunset Celebration every evening. Beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and beach carts are provided for your use. They are stored in the storage room with the laundry facilities. The island's major supermarket, Publix, is just a short drive away. There is also quick exit via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and SWFL International Airport. Trolley service is available to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, where there is an extended fishing pier and too numerous to count clubs, restaurants, and boutiques.

The property sits on a double lot with one full lot of green space to enjoy. Lounge under mature trees in the big, grassy yard watching birds, fish and dolphins play in the bay. This is a Fisherman?s Dream with 140 feet of canal, one house from the bay with fish cleaning station and running water in the backyard. Bring your boat and tie up to the dock and park your trailer in the secluded side yard. Or bring your kayaks or SUP board and launch from the dock.

Unit #4 is 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, on the second floor via stairs. An outdoor covered balcony is to the left of the entrance with a Sun Deck facing the canal and bay. Stepping inside we first encounter the kitchen to the right and dining area to the left. The spacious updated kitchen with wood flooring, tray ceiling with recessed lighting, is fully equipped with Corian countertops with tile backsplash, dishwasher, range, microwave, and side by side refrigerator/freezer with ice maker. Everything is available for multi-course creations, or simply making a pot of coffee first thing in the morning. The adjacent dining area looks out to the canal and bay, and has a table seating 6.

Off the kitchen and dining area is the bright, spacious, and well-furnished living room. At one end is a wall entertainment center with large flat screen TV as the centerpiece to keep up with world events or for simple entertainment. There are two leather sofas and a wicker rocking chair most excellent for viewing a movie or game. Off the living room also canal and bay front is a viewing room with bar height table and bar stools for enjoying bay views with your favorite drink.

Also off the living room through French doors is a guest bedroom with bunk beds, chest of drawers, and kids table.

Down the hall from the living room, first on the left is a bathroom with shower/tub combination and lavatory with vanity.

Further down on the left is a guest room with queen size bed, night stand, dresser, and walk-in closet.

On the right side of the hall is the master bedroom with king size bed, night stands, triple dresser, chest of drawers, and walk-in closet. The en-suite bath has tub/shower combination, with wide vanity with single lavatory.

Laundry facilities are available in the storage room on the ground floor level between Units 1 and 3.

The island has numerous restaurants and night life for your choosing. Water activities abound. There are parasailing, Jet Ski rentals and fishing charters to name a few. Your stay at 269 Driftwood Lane will definitely provide the potential for an unforgettable beach getaway!
