Welcome to 4851 Dolphin Lane. Location and bay views are the focal point of this amazing two-story waterfront duplex property. Please note that the third level is not included in this vacation rental description. Imagine a cozy wood-paneled retreat located in the middle of tropical Estero Island on the back bay, nestled behind the tree-lined Dolphin Lane entrance. Estero Island is a tropical paradise that still maintains its small island charm, yet this home is away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square, affording quiet relaxation for that desired relaxing getaway. So in addition to the bay front sunrises, there is deeded gulf access just across Estero Boulevard to a 7-mile stretch of white, sugary sand beach providing a place for daytime beach activities, and to view the endless variety of evening sunsets. Let your imagination be your guide. From the dock there's fishing, as well as being able to observe manatees and dolphins frolicking in the bay. In addition, one of the island's largest supermarkets and an upscale bistro on the bay are right next door! Trolley service along the boulevard is available to transport you to Times Square, with all of its restaurants, clubs, and night life. This venue is equipped with all the amenities you are accustomed to at home, PLUS the tropical setting!

Upon arrival there is one covered parking space at ground floor level, with an elevator from garage to the main level, simplifying luggage transfer. There is otherwise ample parking outside for guests or even a boat trailer, as well as a dock to tie up your boat! From the front there are also steps up to a deck which wraps around to the rear of the house. The deck area has chairs, lounge chair, and gas grill. There are two entrances to the house from this level.

Entry from the deck is into the living room/dining area. Walls are wood paneling, and there are wood-paneled, beamed ceilings. Flooring is wall to wall carpeting. To the left of the front door the dining room has a wooden table seating 6, with convenient pass-through into the kitchen, as well as buffet. The living room has two expansive picture windows overlooking the back yard, dock, bay, and adjacent marina, and off the right side of the living room through sliding glass doors, is a tiled Florida room with French doors out onto the deck. The living room has a flat screen TV, beachy rattan furnishings with single chairs, sofa, coffee and end tables, bookcases, and desk. There are ceiling fans throughout, as well as central air conditioning.

Moving back through the dining room the elevator is on the right, and on into the kitchen there is a double door refrigerator/freezer with ice and water dispenser in the door, counterspace with pass-through to dining room, stainless steel gas oven and range, built-in above range microwave, garden box window above European style sink with disposal, and dishwasher. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.

Exiting the kitchen and to the left is a guest bedroom and bath with queen bed, night stands and lamps, chest of drawers with flat screen TV, chair, and clothes closet. The adjacent bathroom has a walk-in shower, vanity and lavatory. It also has a connecting door into the master bath and bedroom.

Back through the living room and to the left is the master bedroom with wood flooring and ceiling fan, furnished with queen bed and night stands with lamps. Another large picture window affords an excel-lent view upon waking of the bay and sunrises. There is a triple dresser with flat screen TV, chairs, and chest of drawers, as well as a walk-in cedar closet and secondary clothes closet. The master bathroom has a closet with stacked washer and dryer, vanity and lavatory, and separate room with tub/shower combination and toilet. There is a iron and ironing board for your convince. Two single roll-a-way beds are being added in June of 2019 to accommodate 6 people.

Estero Island has numerous restaurants and night life for your choosing, and you are in the middle of it all location-wise. In addition to the adjacent Bayfront Bistro there are other close by restaurants, such as the Junkanoo Restaurant and Fresh Catch Restaurant. The popular Santini Marina Plaza is also fair-ly close by near the southern end of the island, with several restaurants as well. Water activities that in-clude jet ski rentals, parasailing, fishing charters, dolphin and sunset tours abound, as well as oth-er things to do and places to visit nearby. Sanibel Island, world famous for its sea shells, and Fort My-ers with its Downtown River District and historic winter homes of Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone, lie not far to the north. To the south are Lover's Key State Park, Bonita Springs and Naples.

Our rental properties are outfitted with high tech features such as remote entry locks, high speed wire-less internet, etc. In addition, for our guests with allergies, this property is both nonsmoking and pet-free.
