Welcome to Castle Beach resort #103, a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo located just at the southernmost tip of tropical Fort Myers Beach. Arrival at the resort is facilitated by luggage carts provided at the lower level entry to the building. Coin laundry facilities are available in this area, although for your convenience this condo has its own washer and dryer in the kitchen. A secure elevator will take you to the first floor, and the entrance to the condo is just steps to the left from the elevator. Due to its unique location at the tip of the island the view covers both the Gulf and Bay. There is a wide sandy beach at your doorstep, and several miles of white sugar sand beach beyond that. If you intend to visit some of the surrounding attractions of Southwest Florida, this location also provides the choice of exiting the area via the less traffic congested Bonita Springs rather than the northern route through Fort Myers Beach. This venue is equipped with all the amenities you are accustomed to at home. The views of the Gulf of Mexico are incredible. Relax on your private balcony and watch the daily sunsets that are always a new painting each day.

Upon entering your condo on the first floor, there is a screen door into an alcove, then the door into the condo. With the front door open this allows the gulf breezes to waft through the entire condo, adding to the tropical island feel, but the condo is also fully climate controlled should you so desire.

Entry is into a foyer, and immediately the Gulf of Mexico comes into view beyond the screened in balcony. There is tile flooring throughout, and d?cor is a beachy motif. The kitchen is to the left, with plenty of granite counterspace and a pantry. A stacked washer and dryer is available in the kitchen as well. Appliances include refrigerator/freezer with icemaker, built-in glasstop range with self-cleaning oven, above-range microwave, and dishwasher. There is a double stainless steel sink with disposal, and pass-through into the dining/living room area. Standing in the kitchen there is a window looking out toward Estero Boulevard. Everything is provided to whip up a nice full course meal, or just to make coffee and toast in the morning.

Back into the foyer and the hallway to the right is the guest bedroom and bath. The guest bedroom is nicely furnished with a queen-size bed, triple dresser with lamp, night stand and lamp, and ample closet space. A window adds to the bright and airy feeling, looking out towards the front of the building.The adjacent guest bathroom has a granite-top vanity with lavatory, and walk-in shower with glass doors.

Back into the hallway and to the right the dining area has a pass-through bar from the kitchen with 2 barstools, and a glasstop table seating 4. There is also a dining area buffet.

The bright and airy living room is newly and tastefully refurnished, with amazing views to the east and south of the Gulf and Big Carlos pass. There is an area rug here with queen-size sleeper sofa with matching side chair, end tables with lamps, coffee table, and an overstuffed swivel rocker. A large flat screen TV on a credenza helps you keep abreast of world events ? should you so desire, and of course wireless internet is also available.

From the living room through sliding glass doors you will access the screened in balcony, most likely the focal point during your stay. It will provide hours of viewing pleasure of the island, surrounding beaches, and waterways, and is furnished with four wicker chairs with cushions, and two cocktail tables. A ceiling fan will add to your comfort as well. The view is essentially 180 degrees, spanning the area from Sanibel Island to the West to Big Carlos pass to the East. After a short walk to Big Carlos Pass you will most likely see dolphins on a daily basis, and depending on the season of your visit you may see the occasional sea turtle or manatee. The awesome sunsets will change daily, offering a different scene each evening. Should your visit occur during the summer, available for your viewing pleasure will be mesmerizing afternoon rains and lightning shows.

The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with updated granite-top vanity with lavatory, and a combination tub/shower. There is a king-size bed, 2 night stands and lamps, a triple dresser above which is a wall-mounted large flat screen TV. There is a walk-in closet, and the bedroom has its own sliding glass doors to the balcony, allowing you to awake to gorgeous sunrises.

Other amenities of this property include a pool and patio area with privacy fence and tropical landscaping, with lounge chairs and table with benches in front of the building for your relaxation and enjoyment. There is one covered parking space on the lower level, with other guest parking in front of the building. Just outside the ground-level parking area are three tables and chairs under Tiki huts with the Gulf of Mexico as your background. For the barbecue enthusiasts a gas grill is available also on the lower level.

In addition Flippers, an award-winning waterfront restaurant, is just across the bridge at Lovers Key resort. Kayak and jet ski rentals are available, as well as dolphin tours and sunset cruises around Estero Bay to the Gulf of Mexico.

Fort Myers Beach/Estero Island has numerous restaurants and night life for your choosing. Proceeding north from the resort, either by private car or the island's Trolley service, ultimately ends up around Times Square, with many restaurants, a Publix supermarket, cinema, public library, and many shops and boutiques along the way. Water activities abound. There's parasailing, jet ski rentals as stated above, and fishing charters to name a few. In addition there is high speed boat service to Key West, with daily round trips available. The trip takes about 3 hours each way.
