Welcome to Islands End #1003, located at the southernmost tip of tropical Fort Myers Beach. The location of this resort affords remarkable views of the Gulf of Mexico, Lovers Key, and Estero Bay, and especially so because of its tenth floor vantage point. Arrival at the resort is facilitated by luggage carts provided at the secure entry to the building. An elevator will whisk you to the tenth floor, and the entrance to the condo is just steps from the elevator. Due to its unique location at the tip of the island the view covers both the Gulf and Bay. There is a wide sandy beach at your doorstep, and several miles of white sugar sand beach beyond that. You will also have a birds eye view of the 1700 acre Lovers Key state beach park, as well as beyond that the skyline of Bonita Beach and Naples. If you intend to visit some of the surrounding attractions of Southwest Florida, this location also provides the choice of exiting the area via the less traffic congested Bonita Springs rather than the northern route through Fort Myers Beach. This venue is equipped with all the amenities you are accustomed to at home. The views of Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico are incredible. Relax on your private balcony and watch the dolphins play and boats drift past.

Upon entering your condo on the 10th floor, entry is into the tiled foyer, with tiled kitchen to the left. Appliances are all stainless steel, and include double door refrigerator with pull out freezer drawer, built-in range with convection oven and above-range microwave, garbage disposal and dishwasher. The kitchen features quartz countertops, tray ceiling and recessed lighting, with pass-through into the dining/living room area. Standing in the kitchen there is a window overlooking Estero Bay, a marina and tennis courts, and a 180-degree turn from the same spot brings the Gulf of Mexico into view. Everything is provided to whip up a nice meal, or just to make coffee and toast in the morning.

Back into the foyer and the hallway to the right is the guest bedroom, bath, laundry area, and closet. The remainder of the living area has wall to wall carpeting other than in the guest and master baths. The guest bedroom is nicely furnished with a queen-size sleeper sofa, triple dresser, night stand, and built-in desk with cabinets and chair. The bathroom lavatory has a quartz-top vanity, and bathtub/shower combination with sliding glass doors.

The dining area has a pass-through bar from the kitchen with barstools, and a glasstop table seating 4. The bright and airy living room with mirrored wall is tastefully and comfortably furnished, with amazing views to the east and south of the Gulf and Big Carlos pass. There is a sofa, chair with ottoman, and recliner. A flat screen TV helps you keep abreast of world events, should you so desire, and of course wireless internet is also available.

From the living room you will access the balcony, most likely the focal point during your stay. It will provide hours of viewing pleasure of the island, surrounding beaches, and waterways, and is furnished, including a glasstop table and 4 chairs. The view is essentially 180 degrees, spanning the area from Sanibel Island to Bonita Springs, and even on to Naples to the south. Looking down over the water you will most likely see dolphins on a daily basis, and depending on the season of your visit you may see the occasional sea turtle or manatee. The awesome sunsets will change daily, offering a different scene each evening. Should your visit occur during the summer, available for your viewing pleasure will be mesmerizing afternoon rains and lightning shows.

The master bedroom suite can be totally shut off for privacy with a pocket door, and consists of bathroom with quartz-top double lavatory vanity and a walk-in shower with glass door. There is a king-size bed, 2 night stands, chair, and triple dresser. The bedroom has 2 sets of sliding glass doors to the balcony, allowing you to awake to gorgeous sunrises. The screened in balcony is equipped with electric shutters as well.

Other amenities of this property include a spa/jacuzzi situated on the ground floor next to the elevator, as well as gas BBQ grill. There is also a beachside heated pool for your relaxation and enjoyment.

In addition Flippers, an award-winning waterfront restaurant, is just across the bridge at Lovers Key resort. Kayak and jet ski rentals are available, as well as dolphin tours and sunset cruises around Estero Bay to the Gulf of Mexico.

Fort Myers Beach/Estero Island has numerous restaurants and night life for your choosing. Proceeding north from the resort, either by private car or the island's Trolley service, ultimately ends up around Times Square, with many restaurants, a Publix supermarket, cinema, public library, and many shops and boutiques along the way. Water activities abound. There's parasailing, jet ski rentals as stated above, and fishing charters to name a few. In addition there is high speed boat service to Key West, with daily round trips available. The trip takes about 3 hours each way.

For our guests with allergies, this condo is both nonsmoking and pet-free. Our rental properties are all outfitted with high tech features such as remote entry locks, high speed wireless internet, etc.
