Welcome to Ostego Bay 271-3 your luxurious tropical getaway in paradise. This third floor penthouse condo has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with very generous square footage and volume ceilings. Please note there is a 2-week minimum stay. In addition to its convenient location, there is also the feel of privacy as you gaze out across the canal and natural mangroves. There is lush tropical foliage all around you. There is decorative ceramic tile flooring everywhere except for carpeting in the spacious master bedroom. The kitchen is a chef's delight with plenty of quartz counter tops and well-stocked cabinets to make it easier to prepare full-course meals, should that be on your list. There is a double door refrigerator with pullout freezer drawer with ice maker, glass top range and self-cleaning oven, built-in above range microwave, and dishwasher. There is a double stainless steel sink with disposal, and very generous counter space. This resort is located at the quiet southern end of Estero Island and is within walking distance of a myriad of amenities that include a public marina and movie theatre. The beach is accessed by a 5-minute walk to the Wyndham Resort just across Estero Boulevard where, by the way, there is a Pincher's Crab Shack restaurant.

A CVS pharmacy and Santini Marina Plaza are at the top of your street at Estero Boulevard, with many shops and restaurants. There is also quick exit via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and RSW International Airport. The beach at this portion of the island is expansive, connecting its guests to 7 miles of white sugar sand beach. Trolley service is available from directly in front of Santini Plaza to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, where there is an extended fishing pier and too numerous to count clubs, restaurants, and boutiques. The trolley can also take you south to the secluded Lover's Key park.

Amenities at Ostego Bay include a heated pool and spa complex which is right next to this condo, as well as single enclosed garage parking with washer and dryer, with one additional outdoor parking space in the driveway leading to the garage. The island's major supermarket, Publix, is just a 2-mile drive away.

Entry is via elevator to the third floor screened in entry by the front door, into the spacious entry foyer and expansive living room with vaulted ceilings and dimmable recessed lighting throughout, then out through sliding glass doors to the screened in balcony and the view beyond.

Immediately to the left of the foyer is a guest bedroom with two single beds, a desk with drawers on each side, a table lamp, a headboard unit with book shelves and drawers with a corner floor lamp. The large window overlooks the front to lush tropical scenery. There is also ample closet space.

Back into the foyer and to the right is a hallway with guest bath and another guest bedroom. The bathroom has a combination tiled tub/shower with gold-rimmed sliding glass doors, as well as gold fixtures and mirrored walls. There is a large vanity with lavatory.

Continuing down the hallway to the right is a guest bedroom with queen-size bed, a 3-drawer chest with mirror, a night stand with lamp, and ample closet space. As in the other guest bedroom there is a large window overlooking the street and all the tropical foliage.

Back through the hallway the living room is nicely furnished with sofa and love seat, end table with lamp, floor lamp, two overstuffed chairs, one with ottoman. There is a glasstop coffee table with a dolphin breaking through the surface. There is also a credenza with large flat screen TV for your viewing entertainment. There are expansive sliding glass doors out to the screened in and well-furnished balcony where you will find a glass top rectangular table seating 4, as well as two other chairs with a cocktail table and ottoman. From the balcony there is an awesome view of the canal and natural tropical mangroves.

Back towards the entry foyer and to the right is the formal dining room with oval table seating 4. There are Roman columns to accent the decor. Moving on to the right is the spacious kitchen as described above. In addition, just off the kitchen is another eating area with table seating 4, and sliding glass doors out to the balcony. The mirrored wall and windows add to the spacious feeling.

Moving to the other side of the living room is an arched doorway to a hallway with storage closet to the right, and to the left is the spacious carpeted master bedroom with sliding glass doors out to the balcony. High ceilings add to the spacious feeling. Furnishings include a queen-size bed, night stands with lamps, a slipper chair in front of the large window with a view as described above, and two end of bed benches. There is also a triple dresser with large flat screen TV. The large en suite bathroom has tile flooring, and a separate corner garden tub on the left, with glass-enclosed shower on the right, with gold trim and fixtures throughout. There is a large dressing room style vanity with two lavatories, and a water closet behind a pocket door. There are two closets, one of which is a walk-in closet with built-in shelves and drawers.

The island has numerous restaurants and night life for your choosing. Water activities abound. There's parasailing, jet ski rentals, fishing charters to name a few. Your stay at Ostego Bay will definitely provide the potential for an unforgettable getaway!
