Welcome to The Palms #3A your luxurious bayfront tropical hideaway in paradise. This resort-style condo on the 3rd floor has generous square footage with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Please note there is a one month minimum stay. Decor is a beachy and nautical motif.

Views of the back bay are amazing from your screened in wrap-around lanai, and you will enjoy watching the boating traffic and marine life that typically includes playful dolphins, not to mention the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. There is tile flooring throughout with the exception of carpeted bedrooms. The kitchen is a chef's delight, with plenty of granite counterspace with tile backsplash, and well-stocked cabinets to make it easier to prepare full-course meals, should that be on your list. There is a side by side refrigerator/freezer with ice and water dispenser in the door, stainless steel sink with disposal, built-in glasstop range with self-cleaning oven, dishwasher, and built-in above counter microwave. Washer and dryer are included in your condo in the kitchen area.

This resort is located at the quiet southern end of Estero Island and offers a myriad of amenities that include deeded beach access, BBQ's, clubhouse, community pool, exercise room, tennis courts and fishing pier. The resort grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained, complete with a bayside pavilion with gas grill, picnic table and benches. In addition, within walking distance is a public marina and movie theatre. Pincher's Crab Shack restaurant is a 5-minute walk down the beach at the Wyndham Resort, and across the boulevard from there is Santini Marina Plaza and its many shops and restaurants, with a CVS pharmacy just past the Plaza. There is also quick exit via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and RSW International Airport. The beach at this portion of the island is expansive, connecting its guests to 7 miles of white sugar sand beach. Trolley service is available from the boulevard out front to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, where there is an extended fishing pier and too numerous to count clubs, restaurants, and boutiques. The trolley can also take you south to the secluded Lover's Key park. The island's major supermarket, Publix, is just a 2-mile drive away.

Entry at ground level is through a secure lobby. There is ample parking. Take the glass-walled elevator to the third floor for access to your condo. The hallways on each floor are open air and allow the island winds to waft around you as you approach the door to your accommodations. Trash chutes are conveniently located on each level near the elevators.

Walk into #3A into a foyer area. To the right is the living area and lanai with sliding glass doors, straight ahead is the kitchen, laundry area, and pantries, and down the hallway to the left are the bedrooms and baths. The living area has expansive sliding glass doors on two walls leading out to the furnished and screened in balcony that overlooks the back bay, with round glass-top table seating 4, and side chairs and lounger. Back in the living room is an L-shaped sectional with large leather ottoman on an area rug with end table and lamp. There is also a matching overstuffed chair with ottoman. In the corner there is a credenza with a large flat screen TV for your viewing pleasure. A floor lamp is in the corner near the balcony.

Moving back towards the entrance and to the right is the dining area. There is a rectangular wooden dining table seating 6, with two end chairs and two upholstered side benches. There are sliding glass doors from the dining area to the lanai and balcony, as well as ceiling to floor windows to the left of the table with a view out to the lush tropical vegetation and back bay as well.

Next is the kitchen as described above, but which also has a tray ceiling with indirect lighting and a ceiling fan. Prior to exiting the kitchen is the large pantry on the left, with laundry area behind louvered doors on the right.

Moving into the hallway to the right we approach the bedroom and bath areas. On the left is the first guest bedroom. This carpeted room is nicely furnished with a set of staggered bunk beds as well as a single bed. There is a wide glass-top table containing a fairly large shell collection. There is a 5 drawer chest, next to which is a cabinet with flat screen TV. The view from the window in this room looks out over the front of the resort with the tropical scenery and ponds. There is also a large walk-in closet.

Across the hallway is the guest bathroom with marble top vanity and lavatory, commode, and a nicely tiled combination tub/shower.

Back into the hallway to the right and straight ahead is the second guest bedroom, again nicely furnished with staggered bunk beds and single bed. Both windows in this bedroom overlook the front of the resort with its ponds and vast area of tropical scenery. A 5-drawer chest awaits your unpacked clothes, and there is also a large flat screen TV and large walk-in closet with built-in shelving.

Back into the hallway and to the left is the large bright and airy master bedroom with en suite bath. Three corners of this bedroom have ceiling to floor windows, with the side windows offering a view of the back bay. The king-size bed sits in a 4-poster bed frame, with night stands and lamps on each side. There is also a double dresser, a corner desk with chair, and a cabinet with large flat screen TV. A short hallway takes you to the dressing area with marble-top vanity and two lavatories. To the left is a large walk-in closet, again with built-in shelving. Next is the separate shower and commode room, with nicely tiled walk-in shower with glass door.

The condo is of course climate controlled, but can also be opened up to allow the tropical breezes to flow through each and every room on those cool summer evenings, or pretty much any other time of the year.

The island has numerous restaurants and night life for your choosing. Water activities abound. There's parasailing, jet ski rentals, fishing charters to name a few. At the northern end of the island the Sky Bridge is the gateway to other interesting and historic areas of Southwest Florida. Sanibel Island, renowned for its gulf-side shelling, is only a 10-15 minute drive from this end of the island, and then there is the downtown Fort Myers River District with its amazing restaurants and shops, as well as the Edison, Ford, and Firestone Winter Homes tours, all again within a 15-20 minute drive. Also at the northern end of the island is where you can board the Key West Express for a quick day trip to Key West! Your stay at The Palms will definitely provide the potential for an unforgettable getaway!
