Welcome to Sun Caper #505 your gulf-front tropical getaway in paradise. This resort-style condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths in a tropical gulf-front setting lending to an island atmosphere without even leaving the resort. There is wood tile flooring throughout, with carpet in the bedrooms. The kitchen is a chef's delight with plenty of granite counterspace and well-stocked cabinets to make it easier to prepare full-course meals, should that be on your list. There is a side by side refrigerator/freezer with ice and water dispenser in the door, glasstop range and self-cleaning oven, built-in above range microwave, and dishwasher. There is a pass through to the dining area.



This resort is located at the quiet southern end of Estero Island, and is only a 3-5 minute drive to a wide variety of amenities that include a public marina, movie theatre, and restaurants. The island's Publix supermarket is located mid-island, also within a short driving distance. The resort has a unique beach/lagoon setting on the gulf side, with a wildlife area and gulf beach access. Just down the boulevard is a CVS pharmacy and Santini Marina Plaza, with many shops and restaurants. There is also quick exit via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and RSW International Airport. The beach at this portion of the island is expansive, connecting its guests to 7 miles of white sugar sand beach. Trolley service is available to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, where there is an extended fishing pier and too numerous to count clubs, restaurants, and boutiques. The trolley can also take you south to the secluded Lover's Key park.



Amenities at Sun Caper include a resort style pool, as well as ample parking and an outdoor grill area.



Entry at ground level is through a secure lobby where an elevator with a glass wall takes you to #505. Bellman trolleys and carts are available to make your arrival a little easier. The hallways on each floor are open air yet sheltered from the elements, to allow the island winds to waft around you as you approach the door to your accommodations, which is the first unit to the left of the elevator.



Walk into a foyer and immediately to the left is a utility closet, and to the right is the kitchen as described above, with tray ceiling, indirect and recessed lighting, all stainless steel appliances, a stainless steel European style sink with disposal, and a window that overlooks the boulevard in front of the resort, lending to the spaciousness of the kitchen. There is also a countertop pass-through to the dining area.



Directly across from the kitchen is a hallway with a laundry area behind folding doors, with your own washer and dryer that will allow you to return home with suitcases full of clean clothes. Also in this area is the guest bedroom and bath. The bedroom is furnished in a beachy motif with two single beds, night stand with lamp, ample closet space, and double dresser with TV. A window in this room also overlooks the boulevard and beyond. The guest bathroom has a combination tub/shower, and large granite-top vanity with lavatory.



Back into the hallway and straight on is the dining room with wicker square table with glass top seating 4. The adjacent spacious, bright, airy, and well-furnished living room has expansive sliding glass doors opening to the screened-in and furnished balcony with its view of the gulf and beach towards Sanibel Island to the north from a fifth floor vantage point. The living area is nicely furnished with a sofa and love seat with end tables and lamps, as well as coffee table, all on an area rug. There is an entertainment cabinet with large flat screen TV for your viewing enjoyment as well.



From the living area to the right is the master bedroom with en suite bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed with single unit back board and night stands with lamps. There is a huge window offering the awesome views that include the tropically landscaped rear lawn areas to the left and straight out towards the tropical ponds and gulf, and to the right is the swimming pool and Tiki hut cabana. Turning attention back to the master bedroom there is also a large double dresser with large wall-mounted flat screen TV above it. There are sliding glass doors from here out to the balcony as well. Just before entering the en suite bathroom there is a hallway closet. The bathroom also has a large granite-top vanity with lavatory, linen closet, and walk-in shower with sliding glass doors.



The island has numerous restaurants and night life for your choosing. Water activities abound. There's parasailing, jet ski rentals, fishing charters to name a few. Your stay at Sun Caper will definitely provide the potential for an unforgettable getaway!
